Aftab Raza is a regulatory and energy market specialist with over 30 years of global experience in C-level and senior executive roles. He has advised governments, regulators, utilities, and developers on energy market reforms, utility regulation, and project financing and development.

Prior to joining EtihadWE as Senior Advisor in 2024, he led the Canada-based consulting firm Fynvalue and worked for the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy as Senior Advisor and Director.

Aftab holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and is a certified PMP and FMVA. He has presented at major industry forums and authored or contributed to international publications on the energy sector.
