Intersolar Middle East 2026, held as part of the 50th edition of Middle East Energy, concluded successfully, further strengthening its position as the leading platform for the solar and energy storage industries in the Middle East. With significant growth in exhibition space, strong exhibitor participation, and a well-attended conference program, the event demonstrated the region’s accelerating commitment to renewable energy and sustainable power generation.
Middle East Energy 2026 concluded its landmark 50th event at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), bringing together more than 39,000 energy professionals from over 150 countries. Organizers of this milestone edition were thrilled to welcome over a third of that audience from beyond the Middle East, while GCC visitors accounted for 64% of total attendance, demonstrating the continued importance of Dubai as a global meeting point.
The 50th edition opened with a high-level ceremony led by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who officially opened the event alongside H.E. Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and David Lynn, CEO of inD, before touring the exhibition floor. The Leadership Summit further brought together senior policymakers, energy investors and global leaders, including H.E. Yaser Bin Ebrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain; Bruce Johnson, Director - Corporate Finance & Treasury, Masdar; Hon. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Federal Minister of Power, Nigeria; Mina Arif, General Manager MEA, Microsoft; and Francesco La Camera, Director General, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), alongside senior executives from leading global energy and technology companies. Across the exhibition and conference program, several clear themes emerged to define the industry’s near-term agenda. Closer collaboration between government and the private sector was a recurring priority, with speakers and delegates highlighting public-private partnerships as an important route to unlocking new power projects and responding to accelerating demand.
The 2026 event maintained its unique position creating opportunities for every part of the interconnected energy value chain to exchange ideas, develop partnerships and connect investment with projects. This year’s edition represented the accelerated growth of the energy industry in the region, with $98 billion in live energy projects held by attendees joining Middle East Energy from across the globe —more than doubling the $45 billion represented in 2025. This was particularly evident through the Energy Club, the exclusive VIP program at Middle East Energy, which brought together senior decision-makers from organizations including the World Bank Group, Blackstone, Masdar, ADNOC, Microsoft, Mitsubishi Power EMEA, Infinity Power, TAQA, KEC International, the African Development Bank and Rwanda Energy Group.
Taking place across Hall 6 and the Pavilion Hall of DWTC, Intersolar Middle East 2026 welcomed 122 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest innovations, technologies, and solutions for the solar and energy storage markets. The exhibition occupied a total area of more than 1,800 square meters, representing a remarkable 27% increase in exhibition space compared to the previous edition.
The event brought together industry leaders, project developers, EPCs, investors, utilities, policymakers, and technology providers, creating valuable opportunities for networking, business development, and knowledge exchange. A key highlight of the event was the accompanying Intersolar Middle East Conference, which featured a comprehensive three-day program addressing the most important developments shaping the regional and global solar markets.
More than 40 distinguished speakers shared their expertise on topics including market outlooks, utility-scale solar deployment, energy storage, grid integration, and investment opportunities. The conference attracted approximately 1,500 attendees from across the energy sector, reflecting the growing demand for industry insights and strategic dialogue.

The next edition of Intersolar Middle East will take place from May 11–13, 2027, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, UAE. Building on the success of the 2026 edition, the event is expected to continue its growth trajectory and further support the development of solar energy and storage solutions throughout the Middle East and beyond.
