Intersolar Middle East today opened its landmark 10th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, co-located with the 50th anniversary edition of Middle East Energy, creating a unique platform that brings together the global solar, energy storage, and power sectors under one roof. The dual milestone underscores the rapid transformation of the energy industry and highlights Dubai's growing role as a hub for innovation, investment, and collaboration across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
Since its launch, Intersolar Middle East has established itself as a leading meeting point for the solar and energy storage industries in the MENA region, focusing on photovoltaics, PV production technologies, and energy storage systems. Co-located with Middle East Energy, one of the region's longest-running and most influential energy events, the exhibition and conference provide a comprehensive view of the technologies and strategies driving the global energy transition.
The 10th anniversary of Intersolar Middle East and the 50th anniversary of Middle East Energy mark two important milestones for an industry undergoing unprecedented change. The event was opened with high-level ceremony and walkthrough by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group and H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, alongside David Lynn, CEO, inD, who toured the exhibition to engage with leading energy companies and explore the latest technologies and solutions shaping the sector.
In his opening address, His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said: “The UAE continues to build one of the region’s most diversified energy portfolios, strengthening energy security while accelerating the transition towards cleaner and more sustainable sources of energy. This year's Intersolar Middle East Conference offers a forward-looking agenda focused on the technologies, business models, and policy frameworks shaping the next phase of the global energy transition. Designed for industry leaders, utilities, project developers, investors, policymakers, and technology providers, the three-day program explores how solar and storage are moving from alternative energy sources to critical pillars of modern power systems.

The 49th Middle East Energy Exhibition hosted the Intersolar Middle East Exhibition and Conference from April 7-9, 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
