Elie is managing the business activities and leading the development of Group Sustainability initiatives and gas-related business solutions including green projects as decarbonizing industries through CCUS as carbon capture, CO2 re-use in industrial applications, H2 solutions and clean mobility. Elie has started his career within Air Liquide Group and has developed over two decades of extensive multidisciplinary experience in the industrial gas business in South Europe, Middle East, India, North & Sub-Saharan Africa. As VP of Product Development at Yellow Door Energy, Youssef oversees a team of product development experts to bring innovative product solutions to businesses. Most recently, he developed the company's battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions for commercial and industrial businesses in Middle East and South Africa. He has over a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry, with particular focus on hybrid solutions. Prior to joining Yellow Door Energy, Youssef was the Chief Technology Officer at Solstice Renewable Energy in Jordan, and the head of the renewable energy department at ACEMCO in Lebanon. Youssef holds an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) in France and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from American University of Beirut in Lebanon.

Dr. Puzant Baliozian is the VDMA PV Equipment Group's project manager since September of this year. He is involved in techno-economic studies for manufacturing capacity of PV along the value chain and represents the interests of European PV equipment manufacturers internationally. The PV Sector Group at VDMA also publishes the yearly international technology roadmap for photovoltaics (ITRPV) showing highly relevant technology projections and trends. Dr. Baliozian studied physics at the American University of Beirut (BSc., 2014) and has a specialization in renewable energy (MSc. 2016) from the university of Freiburg. From 2016 until recently, he worked at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg in the field of photovoltaic production technologies where he also did his PhD. He is best known for developing the passivated edge technology for separated industrial solar cell concepts, to boost cell and module efficiencies.

Sebastian Bartels is leading the global sustainability services area at DEKRA, helping organizations to define and achieve their sustainable development related goals and strategies. With a background in safety & environmental engineering, Sebastian is responsible for DEKRA's portfolio providing sustainability solutions spanning testing, inspection, certification, verification, training and advisory services in the areas of Energy Transition, ESG and Circular Economy. Previously, he worked in various senior management and expert roles in the Consulting, Testing, Inspection and Certification industry, as well as in Mobility, Logistics and Transportation. He is active in global, European, and national standardization and associations and teaches post-graduates at a university as associated lecturer. Sebastian lives in Belgium and Germany. Dr. Nabih Cherradi is Desert Technologies' Chief Technology Officer. Has spent over 34 years building on a long track record of equipment's/production lines as well as business development in the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries. Prior to joining Desert Technologies, Nabih is also the CEO of EmpowerSun, a Swiss based photovoltaic energy consultancy, which he founded in 2009. In the meantime, he also co-founded ISWT a French solar developer company. From 2007-2009, as a Vice President/CTO, he accompanied Yingli Green Energy in its fast expansion with responsibility for the technology and manufacturing. He also participated in its IPO in New York (NYSE). As operations & process director at Applied Materials from 1997 to 2007 Nabih was responsible for installing turn-key semiconductor and photovoltaic production lines throughout the world, installing multiple GWs of production capacity across a ten year period. As a scientist, he focused on advance materials for different applications working with different industries (Semiconductor, Photovoltaic and Hard tools) He holds a PhD on materials sciences from the University Henri Poincaré, Nancy as well as an MBA, from the Business School of Nancy, (France).

Benjamin Clarke is the Global Markets Manager for the international cooperation team at SolarPower Europe, the European Solar PV industry association. He coordinates SolarPower Europe's Emerging Markets workstream, drawing together and contributing to market reports on solar investment opportunities around the world, which serve as a basis for engagement with policy makers to help unlock the solar potential of emerging markets. He also manages externally funded international projects, and coordinates engagement with EU policy makers on the EU's energy diplomacy. Before joining SolarPower Europe, Benjamin work for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of the British Government.

Dr. Sara M. Golroodbari, currently an assistant professor at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, is an expert in solar energy. With a robust academic background in electronics and electrical engineering, she excelled in her studies, notably earning distinction in her master's program focused on power electronics. Dr. Golroodbari's Ph.D. research, conducted at Utrecht University, concentrated on the integration of floating solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, a testament to her commitment to advancing renewable energy. In her role as a researcher and educator, Dr. Golroodbari explores a variety of innovative solar technologies, including floating PV, Agrivoltaics, and Building-integrated Photovoltaics (BiPV). Her work is instrumental in pushing the boundaries of solar energy integration, reflecting her dedication to sustainable development and renewable energy solutions.

As a renewable energy expert, I have been involved in some of the largest projects in the world. Currently I manage a company that is leading green hydrogen projects development with a promising pipeline.

Dr Radovan Kopecek received his diploma in physics from the University of Stuttgart in 1998 and studied as well at Portland State University (Oregon, USA), where he obtained a Master of Science degree already in 1995. In 2002, he completed his doctoral thesis in Konstanz in the field of crystalline thin-film photovoltaics. Until the end of 2006, he was group leader for n-type cell technology at the University of Konstanz. As one of the founders of ISC Konstanz, Dr Kopecek has been a full-time manager and researcher at the institute since 2007 and was managing director, CTO and head of the Advanced Solar Cells department until June 2023 and head of the Strategy and Education department since July 2023. He is the author of several books and more than 200 articles and holds several patents for the production of n-type PV technologies. He is the organizer of several workshops that he started in Konstanz, such as nPV, bifiPV, tandemPV and BCworkshop. Dr Kopecek was on the board of EUREC (Association of EU's R&D centers involved in renewables) from 2016 to 2021. In 2018, he co-founded ATAMOSTEC - a research and development center for desert modules and systems in Chile and has been on the board since 2022. In 2022, Dr Kopecek was also elected to the board of the ESMC (European Solar Manufacturing Council). Since May 2023, he has been one of the spokespersons for the PV Production Working Group of the BMWK (Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection).

Stefan Krümpelmann leads Argus Media's global Hydrogen and Future Fuels service which provides subscribers with news and analyses, modelled production costs and downloadable datasets for hydrogen and its derivatives. He has been with Argus for more than seven years and covered European natural gas markets before shifting his focus to the hydrogen industry. Prior to this, he worked for an investment research company in London and studied in Maastricht, Leeds and London.

Dr. Sagarika Kumar currently works as a senior researcher at Technology Innovation Institute (TII), Abu Dhabi in the field of PV reliability and testing. Her work is pivotal to improvement of long-term reliability of solar PV modules installed in the Middle east region. She was previously working as a lead researcher and project manager at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, UAE on developing desert-specific environmental standards for PV modules. She was awarded her Ph.D. in PV module reliability from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India in 2020. She also completed her master's from there in Energy Science and Engineering. PV Solar research society recognizes her as a passionate researcher and has awarded her multiple times in recognition of her work in PV module reliability. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, and along with that, she has also supervised and mentored several researchers during her young research journey.

Nishant Kumar is Analyst specializing in the Middle East energy market of Rystad Energy's Renewable & Power Research team, with years of experience working within the energy industry. Grigorios Latropoulos is a passionate Business Development leader for sustainable power applications at MAN Energy Solutions looking after the Middle East and Africa region. Dr Mauro Pravettoni is Sr Director at the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Research Center of TII, a national research institute in Abu Dhabi. He got his PhD at the Imperial College. He is member for UAE of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC TC82), where in the past he also represented Switzerland and Singapore. He is member of the British Society for the Philosophy of Science, Technical Assessor for NATA, the Australian National Agency of Testing Authorities and Referee for EMPIR, the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research. From 2017 to 2023 he was Director of PV Modules at SERIS, Singapore's national research institute for solar energy. Since 2018 he is member of the International Scientific Committee of SNEC, in Shanghai, one of the world largest solar exhibitions. He wrote a number of peer-reviewed papers, books, and conference proceedings, with over 1000 citations. In 2008 he co-developed the world record efficiency luminescent solar concentrator.

Dr Muhammad Rashid is an Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick, where he is involved in the development of battery technology and electric mobility in the UK. He earned his Ph.D. in Mech. Eng. from IIT Delhi in 2016 which was focused on the development of battery technology in India. He also did his master's (2011) and bachelor's (2009) in Mech. Eng. from India. For the past 13 years, he has been working in various segments of battery technology, i.e., battery design and development for electric vehicles and 2nd life applications. He has gained this expertise via working on different industrial projects with various batteries (ILLIKA, AMTE Power, UKBIC, British Volt) and EV manufacturers (JLR, Bentley, Norton, Aston Martin) in the UK; and European Metal Recycling and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi on various clean energy projects. He has several publications in high-impact journals and attended various conferences as a guest speaker.

Punit Sharma has spent 19+ Years in the energy sector with technologies ranging from conventional power systems to smart sustainable grids. An Enthusiastic engineer at heart, he has been supporting organizations across middle east in developing and implementing clean energy solutions. He has transitioned from the sector of conventional power systems, with experience of automation and designs, to implementation and innovation in the area of renewables and microgrids. Punit advocates climate change initiatives and is committed to contribution by educating and supporting clean energy technologies.

My name is Dr Muhammad Sheikh, and I am an Assistant Professor in Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Electrification at Warwick manufacturing group WMG, The University of Warwick, UK. I completed my PhD in Engineering from University of Sunderland, UK in 2018 and MSc. in Electrical Engineering from Staffordshire university, UK in 2011. I am currently leading module on Battery Electrochemistry Design and Manufacturing (BEDM) and Automotive Hybridisation and Electrification (AHE) for MSc Sustainable Automotive Electrification course. I am also planning and developing material for Battery training courses at WMG. In the last 10 years, my research has focused primarily on Energy storage systems, I was involved in several successful commercial and research projects including H1PERBAT (Aston Martin Lagonda), Faraday's multiscale modelling (MSM) correlation work, Eatron's cell and module testing (Eatron led with expertise from Istanbul Technical University), Long-term ageing work (Jaguar Land Rover), Transportation safety for safe transport of Lithium-ion batteries, FPT (Fiat Powertrain, Switzerland) testing for heat rejection analysis on high energy and high power density batteries, Edge mobility (Indian E-scooter) for state of health (SoH) estimation, UKBIC formation cycling, Long-term cycling for fully discharge and reduce depth of discharge. I have also worked in collaboration with academic and industrial partners including Aston Martin Lagonda (AML), Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE), Fiat Powertrain (FPT), UKBIC, National Composite Centre (NCC), Unipart, Coventry University, University of Birmingham, Imperial College London (UCL) and Lancaster University. For above mentioned projects, I have used various testing and characterisation techniques including EIS, CC-CV, GITT, HPPC, Multisine test, Drive cycle profile, relaxation, DCIR, OCV, RPT, teardown analysis, coin cell fabrication, three-electrode cells, and capacity analysis. I have published my research in various well-reputed journals and presented my findings in the international conferences.

Pursuing his way in the solar industry he participates regularly in roundtable discussions and public events, sharing his knowledge and supporting the development of the solar PV industry. He has gained professional experience in the photovoltaic business working internationally for different tier-one manufacturers and consultancy firms in the PV industry. He holds a master's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Padova (IT) and has thorough know-how about the PV market, technology and quality aspects. As Global Head for the Large-Scale Renewable Energy business at Stäubli Electrical Connectors, together with his Team, he contributes to the company's strategy strengthening Stäubli's global leadership position in the RE market, developing the partnership with customers and growing the success of Stäubli's PV eBOS portfolio.

Dr. Florian Wessendorf is Managing Director of Solar Promotion GmbH and Solar Promotion International GmbH. He is responsible for the global conference program and exhibitions in North America, South America and India. He has deep expertise in the solar industry, and formerly served as Managing Director of Photovoltaic Equipment at VDMA, where he was responsible for strategic development, market research and technology scouting, advocacy and policy advice, events, PR and marketing.

Maryam Zehtaban is a senior engineer with a master's degree in industrial engineering and over 20 years of experience. With a strong focus on logistics and IT within automated production systems, she has made significant contributions to various industries including semiconductor, photovoltaic (PV) and battery technologies. Currently, Maryam Zehtaban is a member of the Research and Development department at acp systems AG, where their innovative approach drives forward the development of cutting-edge solutions to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

Evetar Zeqiri graduated with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Strategic Management and Leadership from Northern Illinois University in the United States of America, through the Transformational Leadership Program, a USAID and Government of Kosovo co-funded program. He also graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Sheffield, U.K. His undergraduate studies were in Management and Information Systems, at the University of Prishtina. Mr.Zeqiri is a Certified Public Auditor from SCAAK and a certified internal auditor from the Ministry of Finance. He's also a fully qualified member of CIPFA and CMI (U.K) - leading international professional bodies in finance, accounting, audit, and management. Mr. Zeqiri has managerial working experience in areas of business management, operations, consulting, project management, audit, finance and accounting, and procurement. Mr. Zeqiri brings his experience from the private sector, public sector, publicly owned enterprises, and international organizations working in Kosovo. Among his rich and diverse working experience, he has worked for several years at the National Audit Office. Recently Mr. Zeqiri worked as Finance and Administration Manager at a Swiss-based development Consulting company as Finance and Administration Manager implementing a long-term Project in the water sector.
