He is currently Senior Vice President - R&D with 'Luminous Power Technologies - Schneider Electric' since June 2020. In this role, he is responsible for shaping the technology and product development of Power Solutions Business at Luminous. He spent ~17 years with GE Global Research Center holding various leadership positions in India and US in the areas of Power Electronics, Power Systems, Energy Storage and Smart Grid He spent 4 years with Entergy Services Inc., one of the largest electric power utilities in the US, where he was responsible for evaluating new technologies to the transmission system, performing technical studies and recommending solutions. He spent a couple of years with 'Enzen Global Solutions', and 'Power Research Development Consultants' where he researched on new technologies for Utility applications and provided consulting services to various utilities, developers and technology providers in Power Systems Engineering. He served as the chair of the IEEE - Power and Energy Society, Bangalore Chapter, 2014-15 and as the Co-Chair for the 'World Utility Summit' 2020.
